What is an LLC?
A Limited Liability Company (LLC) is a type of legal entity that offers the same limited liability protection as a corporation but is much easier to set up and provides more flexibility in the way it’s run. An LLC protects entrepreneurs and small business owners by separating their personal and business assets. This means that you are not personally responsible for any of your business’s debts, and creditors will not be able to come after your personal property, bank accounts, investments, etc.

LLCs have fewer formal requirements to form and operate, unlike corporations, which typically need a board or directors, annual meetings, officers, shareholders, and often have other administrative burdens.
Having an LLC provides you with a credit profile that’s completely separate from your personal credit and social security number. Not to mention, the credit scoring rules and limits work in favor of businesses over individuals.
